Every season in the garden is different. We want you to enjoy your work in the garden to the fullest. Good tools are a gardener’s best friend. Here you find the tools you would need in spring-summer-autumn or even winter.
Fall is the perfect time for transplanting because of the wet soil due to regular rainfall. It is also the perfect time for planting roses. The transplanting spade is the ideal tool for planting and transplanting. The “V-shaped” blade cuts easily through the soil.
Bulbs can be planted in the fall to give some colour to the garden in spring. Depending on the size of the bulbs you can use a bulb planter with a long handle or a dibber for the smaller bulbs.
During fall it is important to keep the lawn free of falling leaves because these refrain the lawn from light and foster the growth of brown spots and moss. A leaf rake would be a solution to eliminate these leaves from the lawn.
Depending on the humidity of the lawn you could still aerate the lawn. During winter the soil will be too hard and during summer the soil is often too dry which causes the lawn to dry out faster. Aerating helps the soil to open- up for nutrients and new seedlings. Our lawn aerator has two hollow tubes of which with every new dig the earth comes up very easily.
It is still important to weed even though the weeds do not grow as fast as during summer.
